This has been the core project of the Women's Leadership Centre since 2004. Through national and local Women's Rights and Writing Workshops, many women and young women have learnt about their human rights and related these to their own lives through reflection and discussion.
At these workshops they were introduced to different forms of creative expression and provided with the space to write, take photographs and paint. Many of their stories, poetry, testimonies and photographs have been published in the two anthologies and the photo book produced by the Women's Leadership Centre so far (see Publications). A third anthology is ready for printing.
For more information on the context, aims and achievements of the Women's Voices Project, please download the Introductions to the two anthologies.
